The past month...

Halloween was so much fun this year! We ended up celebrating on the 30th since the 31st was a Saturday this year. We started our day off by going to Lagoon frightmares because Ryan got 2 free tickets from his work, which i'll say wasn't too fun for me. Ryan and his friend Mark went from ride to ride while I waited outside of every ride for them since I can't ride any being pregnant. To make it worse it was raining out side, I did get to go through one haunted house though! Then afterward we headed over to Tyler & Jaimee's house for the Halloween Party of the year! Each year they always good all out and have the most fun halloween party, we look forward to it everything October! We had a pumpkin carving contest, played lots of fun games and ate lots of junk food... atleast I ate lots of it! Jaimee made these amazing Caramel apples that I couldn't resist. This year Ryan and I were a Basketball & Nugget player, it was the only thing we could come up with for my prego belly.
Everyone's costumes were so good!!

Todd & Kimiko as Allison & the mad hatter

On the 13th of November Jaimee & Kimiko threw me a baby shower here in Utah along with lots of help from Sara (My sister in law) & my friend Kayti...
They did such a good job with all the decorations & food! I loved how they did the theme "All about Sadie" and they had baby pictures of Ryan & I and Ryan's mom...
There was a candy table with an assortment of yummy candy, cake balls & cupcakes! Everything was so delicious, we had plenty of left overs for everyone to take some home so we're still enjoying all the sweets..
My two Griffith Sister-in-laws... We missed having Mega at the shower.
My other Sister in Law, Sara & her mom Michele

We played the "measure the belly" game! Everyone guessed I was a lot bigger than I actually am but there were a few that got pretty close to getting it right.
Our little girl got spoiled and got so many cute outfits! I can't wait to dress our little girl in all the clothes she has gotten so far! Thanks to everyone that was able to come, It meant a lot to me, I have such great friends & family! Here's the belly at 34 weeks!

And then a week later at 35 weeks! Only a few more weeks left! I went to the doctor again this week and everything is going perfectly! I asked him about the possibility of making sure she is here for Christmas so that when my parents are in town they get to see her and he said that if I'm dilated at all by December 11th then he would give me the choice to be induced on December 17th!!! Which means in less than a month we could have a little baby!!! I am getting so anxious to meet her and hold her... We met up with my cousin Lori today and we got to hold her little 2 month old and it made both of us so excited and they reassured us that it's not as hard as people say it is. Sadie's Room is finally coming together we put up most of the decorations this past week! Only a few more things to buy and then we will feel more ready for Sadie to make her appearance into this world!!

Texas visit & Baby shower!

I had a great time in Texas with my parents, grandparents and my friends! My best friends from high school drove to San Antonio to spend the weekend with me, and it was so fun seeing them, I hadn't seen them in over a year! My mom and I did lots of crafts and sewed a few things for the baby's room! We enjoyed some of the best Mexican food & Texas BBQ and the weather was PERFECT! Basically the few days I spent there made me miss living in Texas, I'm not much of a cold weather person.
My mom convinced me to chop my hair off! Which I was hesitant about but I'm so glad I ended up doing it cause I like it so much more now! I'm going to be a mom soon so I've gotta start looking like one!

I got to see my Grandma while i was in Town. They live 4 hours south of San Antonio and were able to drive up and spend a couple days with us. For those of you who don't know my Grandma has been enduring Stomach Cancer for over a year and a half so it is always great to see her, she is such a strong and positive person!
My two friends that come into town to visit! Kady & Kelly!

My mom & her friend Amy Pearson threw me and Amazing shower! Our baby got so spoiled with so many gifts! My mom made these amazing sugar cookies that she had me help decorate! The theme was a birdie theme... Let's just say my mom is a huge perfectionist and she always goes above and beyond when it comes to this kind of stuff!
My mom got a Fake pregnant belly for everyone at the shower to try on... it was pretty funny seeing everyone pregnant!
ha my mom pulled off a pretty cute pregnant belly!
My friends & their mama's minus Bailey and her momMe & My Grandpa
Just a couple of the many cute things that she got from the shower!A bunch of people at the shower went in and bought me this amazing stroller!! I'm in love with it!

We also went to one of my old high school football games! It was really weird being back at one of those games, it kinda made me miss cheerleading and cheering on the football players... all in all it was a great trip and i'm grateful for all of my friends and family that made that weekend so much fun! It's always good to be back home with my husband though!

3rd trimester!

This past saturday I started my 29th week of being pregnant! This pregnancy really is flying by so fast, I only have 3 more months till the due date it here! I'm starting to get nervous about labor and if i'll be a good mom to this little girl, I'm sure everything will come naturally and luckily I have an amazing husband here to help out! This morning we woke up and the baby was kicking me and I told ryan that she was hungry and he said, "Is it my turn!" So I know he will be a big help once she is here! Ryan also took the day off of work today because I had my 7 month appointment! It went really well, I gained a total of 3 pounds last month, and have only gained 16 pounds the whole pregnancy so I'm happy about that!

Today at the doctors we got to listen to the heartbeat again, I guess our little girl has decided that she doesn't like us to hear her heartbeat because where ever the nurse put the ultrasound stick she would kick right back, it was really funny! I can already tell that our little girl has a personality, and she is definitely already spoiled because whenever she kicks and gets hungry I always eat.

I get to go back home to Texas a week from today and I'm so excited to have a girls weekend with my mom and my closest friends from high school! My mom & her friend are also throwing me my first baby shower while I am down there, so I'm really excited about that!

25 weeks!

Pregnancy is great! However, it does have it's up's and down's, and this past week consisted of both ups and downs. One of the downs was, this past Thursday after I had been at work for about 5 minutes and had just started working on our first patient I started to feel very sick. I was feeling completely fine before and then all of a sudden I broke out in a sweat and felt a ton of pressure on my belly and very nauseous. I felt like any second I was going to fall out of the chair and pass out so I decided to get up and walk out of the room leaving my dentist hanging. He was really nice about it and came out to make sure I was okay and then 10 minutes later I was back to feeling completely fine. That doesn't happen often but when it does it's not a good feeling at all! Another down was that I break down and cry pretty easily. Ryan called me yesterday to tell me that his car had gotten towed and we were going to get charged $200 in order to get it back. As soon as I got off the phone with him I broke down and cried, which isn't something I would normally do it just happens out of your control.

Now to the up side of things! I had my first appointment with my new OBGYN here in Provo, and I love him!!! He was so nice and personable, he came in and got to know me for like 20 minutes and made my feel really comfortable with switching doctors. The baby's heartbeat sounded really good which is always a good feeling. The doctor also told me that I was vertically challenged so the baby is already up in my ribs and only has room to grow out from here! He also told me that I probably only have 5 more "good" weeks and then i'll be pretty uncomfortable most of the time since i'm so short. Overall I'm really excited to have him as my new doctor, he's going to be great! Also, I found out that he was the doctor that delivered my brother over 27 years ago!!

My favorite thing about being pregnant is when I lay down at night and put my hands on my belly and feel our baby girl moving around. I can now see her moving around in my belly now! I know I only have 15 more weeks left until she is here so I'm enjoying everyday that I have with her, cause I know once she is here it's going to be a lot of work. But, it will be so worth it!!!

Lots of Changes...

This past month has been pretty crazy with moving down to Provo and getting settled. We're still working on getting things put in the right place and hanging everything up but we're loving our new place, thanks to our friends Aaron and Kayti we will have a bigger place for the baby! Here are some pictures of our new home...

We've got two huge trees in our front yard that we love!
The yard is huge, and will eventually have a picket fence of some sort for when our baby grows up.
Our amazing kitchen! I couldn't believe how nice of a kitchen this place had when we walked it, i love it!
Dining area that is in the kitchen, just got a new table!
The living room, with a cute bay window!
This living room compared to our last living room is huge we can actually fit both couches.
fireplace and entrance into the kitchen
Our bedroom

Guest bedroom for all of you that want to come stay with us!
Baby "G"'s room! Still in the process of making it look cute!...and our bathroom!

Another change that just recently happened is... I went BRUNETTE! Ah, I've always wanted to try it but couldn't give up my blonde hair i would always chicken out but this time I actually followed through, and LOVE it!
And here is my belly pic at 24 weeks! Only 16 more weeks to go!

I love my mom!

I've always known that my mom is super talented when it comes to sewing but I never dreamed that our little girl's bedding would be so cute! When I first got pregnant I wanted my mom to make the bedding and I'm so glad that she did! I couldn't have found something that I would have liked more! Thanks so much mom, you're amazing!!!
She put it in her crib she has at home to model it cause I was so anxious but she is sending it out to me so that we can put it in her little white crib! It's not all complete but the bumper pads and the sheets are, so I'm excited to get to see the rest once it's done! I'm thinking that my mom needs to start her own business selling baby bedding and diaper clutches & let me help out a little... what do you guys think? Here I am at 22 Weeks pregnant (taken about a week ago) I had to get a picture with Sophie and her soon to be little cousin, I hope they are best of friends! My belly is starting to grow fast although I feel like I'm a lot smaller than I should be, hopefully that just means I wont be delivering a 10 pound baby! My doctor told me at our last ultrasound that the baby is another week smaller than she should be which puts her 2 weeks behind, but it's still the same due date were just going to have a smaller baby. I experienced heartburn for the first time, which is not very fun at all, tums are my new best friend! Also, I don't enjoy wearing anything but Ryan's basketball shorts cause everything else is so uncomfortable! The baby likes to go to tumbling class almost everyday, She's going to be a little cheerleader like her mama. I love you so much already Baby "G", we're so excited to meet you!!

Our 2 year anniversary was amazing!

Ryan is such an amazing husband to me and I couldn't be happier than I am with him! He really pulled through this anniversary and made it very special for me! Not only was it our 2 year anniversary but it was also our halfway mark for the pregnancy so we had lots to celebrate! I can't believe that I'm already 20 weeks along, time really flies. So, To start off our anniversary I came home from work on friday and there was a package sitting on our front door step. I was thinking that the package was from my mom, but when I opened it I discovered that Ryan had sent me a Mrs. Fields cookie that said "Happy Anniversary Buddy". The frosting was a little bit squished from being delivered in the mail but it sure did taste amazing! I love when he
surprises me with little things like that.

Then, Ryan made some reservations at this amazing hotel up in the mountains! It's called the Zermatt Resort in Midway. It was so much fun!!! On our way up to the hotel we stopped in Park City to go shopping at the Outlet mall there, and of course we didn't find anything for us but we found plenty of cute stuff for our baby!!! Ryan is such a good sport I know he doesn't like to go shopping but he was spoiling me this trip! We got our little girl some cute onesies, a little pink summer dress, and a cute white skirt.

When we pulled up to the hotel to check in the bell boys were wearing little knickers and
German outfits and treated us like we were royalty it was pretty funny. Ryan booked a room in one of the villas there, because of City deals, where he works we got $100 off and you can get
the same deal! We bought a $200 Gift Certificate for $100, I would highly recommend it to any of you that want to get away with your husbands it was the best getaway and i'll tell you why...

The front of the resort, looks like it's straight out of germany or switzerland.
Here's our Villa...
It was really nice!!!

They have an indoor pool that has a underground tunnel to the outside pool

I know i'm so pale from not being able to tan while I'm pregnant so hopefully this trip gave me a little color

There is a carousel, tennis courts, sand volleyball, shuffle board, live chess board, a really cute bakery with pasteries & gelato, you can feed goats... and
a mini golf course, that's free if you bring your own putters.

We went to dinner that night at a place called Don Pedros that was a really good mexican restaurant.. and then afterward ryan put on his sexy outfit haha, a ninja, with our bath robe ties. He's so creative.
Here I am 20 weeks pregnant! Hopefully i'll get past the "looking fat" stage soon so people don't stare at me wondering if I'm just fat or pregnant.
We had such a great time on our anniversary getaway! I am so grateful for my husband, I really am so lucky that I found him and that he chose me to marry.. and i can't wait to have our little girl to make us even happier, Ryan will be such a good dad to her!
