This Christmas Season...

We bought a Christmas tree and decorated it! Last year we couldn't have a Christmas tree because our little basement apartment ceilings were a little low. We didn't buy a big tree because there wasn't really enough room in our front room, so we thought this one would do for this year!
We had a Christmas party at our house with some of our neighbors and friends. I sent out 10 invitations thinking maybe half of the couples would come since it was so close to Christmas and everyone in Utah usually goes home to their parents house right when school gets out. But, Luckily all of the couples but 2 showed up and we had a packed house! Our Christmas party turned out to be a lot of fun!
We of course wore ugly sweaters.... Us with our friends Jake and Courtney.
We had a white elephant gift exchange...
and our neighbor Justin opened the best present of all...

After all of this we played this Christmas family feud game that I had put together. It was a really fun game, everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Ryan got to try out his new golf clubs! Here is Logan they have this new indoor virtual golf course (Since it snows pretty much all year round here). Ryan LOVED it, it was pretty cool. You got to pick from 20 different golf courses around the world, they played pebble beach in California. What you do is just hit your ball like you would normally do and then when the ball hits the screen it, the ball keeps going.
Ryan went with his friend from work, Rob. Who is a pro golfer, he plays in different cups and wins money, he is way good!! He also offered to give Ryan a golf lesson because he is starting to teach lessons and wants to practice on someone.

Last but not least.... I TURNED 21!!!

Ryan was the best husband ever to me on my 21st birthday! He is really good at surprising me, every year I never know what he is getting me. I asked for this shirt and he made it sound like I for sure wasn't going to get it because the website was never working. I also asked for another shirt, but it was sold out when he went on. Then a few days later I got on to see what they had and the shirt was back on the website but they only had one left and it was in my size! And then, in the next 5 minutes it was gone, I was really sad. But Ryan came through again and he was the one to buy the last one :) He also got me mario brothers wii... I've loved it so far!! Even though I get really frustrated when I keep dying, it's so much fun I always want to be playing.Ryan took me out to eat at my favorite restaurant, Takara Sushi! We got a really good deal, we got 3 sushi rolls and edamame all for $29.99 it was called the Aggie combo! It saved us a little more than $10. The red scarf I'm wearing was a gift from Ryan's family, Susan made it! And I'm wearing the boots that my parents got me for my birthday! My mom got a good deal on those too they were originally $60 and we got them for $25 plus shipping! I love getting good deals!! Then Ryan took me to get Spoon me!!! Since it was my birthday I got it for free! They also gave me a sticker that said "it's my birthday, spoon me!"

We also made some cupcakes and played mario bro. wii that night!

Thanks love for my wonderful 21st birthday!

Texan christmas...

Since we're going to Colorado this year for Christmas and we weren't able to go back home to Texas for Thanksgiving. We got to go to Texas for a few days in the warm weather at the beginning of December. The main reason that we went down there was to see my Grandma for her birthday on the 12th. I don't know who all knows but my Grandma over the summer was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She has been enduring chemo now for a while, but, before we came to Texas my grandma had a check up with her doctor to see if the chemo has been working. Luckily the chemo has been working and the cancer hasn't spread :) So, the doctor gave her a 2 month "holiday" (meaning she doesn't have to have chemo in those two months)! I love my Grandma Scott and I am so grateful for her in my life. She is a very strong lady and even though she is in so much pain she is the happiest person to be around!
My mom got us HUGE stocking this year for Christmas. Stockings are by far my favorite part of Christmas. Even though we opened all of our gifts late afternoon I had to be in my pajamas, it just wouldn't fell like Christmas if I wasn't wearing pjs!
While we were down there we went downtown to the River walk to look at all of the Christmas lights. Man how I love Texas and miss that hot weather, I'm a proud Texan, like most Texan's are. Here we are celebrating my Grandma's birthday! My Grandma had no idea that either Ryan and I or my brother and his wife were coming to Texas. So, when we got to Texas we walked in the back door while she was sitting on the couch... She was so surprised, and very happy to have her grand kids there on her birthday. I kinda ruined this picture ha.
Ryan and I gave my grandma a trust in the lord cross stitch that I made for her.
We enjoyed getting in the hot tub and then hopping out to make some smores, not something we would be doing in Utah right now... I hardly ever want to leave my house in this Logan weather!
All in all it was a great Christmas. Now on to Colorado for our second Christmas.. this will be my very first Snowy Christmas!!

Once again...

We're moving! It's kind of a bitter sweet thing. We are so sad to be leaving our friends here in Logan, but kinda excited to be starting new things in our lives. We are moving to Draper, UT the beginning of January. We found these really cute apartments for a good price. The thing that sold me is, the FIREPLACE in the apartment, and a HOT TUB! The reason why we're moving is, Ryan is now graduated and is hoping to get a job with REAL salt lake ( a soccer team here in Utah) If he doesn't get that job we have some other things lined up, but I really think he will get it. Also, I have been talking with my friend Aubrey and she works in a Dental office down in Sandy. She said she can get me a job there part time for the first two months and then probably full time starting in march if i can handle that and school!! I would be a Dental Assistant there. I still haven't found out any news about the Dental Hygiene school that I interviewed at in Orem but probably will in the next 2 weeks! So, we're keeping our fingers crossed, lots of good changes are about to happen. We will be enjoying this hot tub a lot!!!

Graduation time!

Ryan has made it through college!!! Today was this last day of classes, and lucky him doesn't have any finals! He is majoring in Entrepreneurship and minoring in Spanish. I'm so proud of him, this semester he has worked so hard and got all A's in all of this classes. So, because of how hard he worked, my loving parents got him a very nice new set of golf clubs yesterday! I got them in the mail and then hid the golf clubs in our downstairs closet where he always goes first thing after getting home to take off his shoes. He opened the door and was shocked to see new golf clubs! He was so excited, and can't wait to try his new clubs out. Thanks so much mom and dad!!
