ER experience...

Yesterday, I was sewing a blanket.  I went to adjust the fabric when I accidently pushed down on the foot pedal and the needle went right through my finger!  At first I didn't realize that the needle went through my finger, because i just saw thread sticking out of my finger.  So i went to go pull out the thread, but it wouldn't come out then I realized the needle was sticking out the back of my finger so I laid down just in case I passed out and called my mom.  As I was calling my mom I passed out waking up 30 seconds later confused at what had just happened until I looked at my finger with a needle sticking out of the back. The bad part about this story is Ryan wasn't home, he was at work and would be at work till late.  So, I frantically called my dad who couldn't understand a word I was saying.  Then I went to one of our next door neighbors and had then drive me to the ER.  I then called Ryan at work and the bartender answer and I told him that I had an accident and was headed to the ER and wanted to talk to Ryan.  The bartender told Ryan what I said and then Ryan got on the phone and I broke down crying and he thought it was something way worse like a bad car crash.  Finally I got my act together to tell him what had happened, and he rushed to the ER.  At the Er they gave me a tetanus shot and numbed my finger because I wasn't about to let them just pull that needle out! a few minutes later they pulled the needle out.  Then they had to took a few X rays to make sure it was all out.  I'm so glad that Ryan was there, I really couldn't have gone through that without him!  I'm also really relieved that this whole experience is over with!!!  Now I have to have this awesome bandage on my finger for the next 24 hours.  Yippe.

Barnum & Bailey CIRCUS!

So our good friends Aaron and Kayti found out that the circus was in town and there was no way we were going to miss that! It was so fun to act like little kids again at the circus.  Although this was Ryan and I's first time ever to the circus!  We loved it, and were pretty sad when it was all over!  They did it all from, dogs doing back flips to two human rocket launchers, to elephants on their heads, and people getting cut in half!  I still don't get how they do all those magic tricks! At the beginning they made an elephant disappear just by saying zing zang zoom!!!
The Elephants were our favorite part!  It's amazing what they can train these animals to do!

Love the hat Aaron!  (He wore that hat the whole show!)

Tigers standing on the rear legs. Amazing. That guy is insane though.

We were just a little too excited that we were at the circus, and got some cotton candy with a cool hat!

Here's a little preview of how excited we were at the circus!

Shout out to our friends!

I just want to say that we are so lucky to have the friends that we have!  Lately we have been hanging out with some good friends from our old married ward.   Last weekend we all went putt putt golfing, and enjoyed some hot chocolate afterward.  It's hard to find those friends that you know you will be friends forever, but I know that these people will always be in our lives.  (you too Aaron and Kayti, just wish we lived closer)

Me, Natalie, and Kylee

Coming up next month on October 24th, our friends Conner and Kylee are getting sealed in the Salt Lake Temple!  We're so happy for you two and wouldn't miss it for the world!

Their little boy Nixon is the cutest!

Recently....

I've applied to 3 different Dental Hygiene schools!! With all of my prerequisites coming to an end finally, i've been applying to schools. I'm so anxious to find out which one i'll get into, although it is really difficult in Utah. So far I've applied to UCDH in Orem, SLCC in Salt Lake, and CCD in Denver, CO. There are still more that I'm planning on applying to, in hopes that one will want me. I'm so excited to be able to start this program, I can hardly wait! Keep me in your thoughts, that i'll be able to get into one of these schools!

Family Reunion in Bear Lake!

This past August the Moore-Griffith-and Jefferie families got together for a weekend full of fun at Bear Lake! I've meet Ryan's whole family for the most part but a few of them. I really enjoyed getting to know all of them a little better, and loved feeling apart of their wonderful family! We got to stay in this amazing house, thanks to Mike and Susan! Family reunions don't happen as often as I wish they did, It's sad that the older you get the harder it becomes to get everyone together in one place.
Bear Lake is such a pretty lake, it's very blue and clear, like the carribean. Although the water was pretty cold, compared to Texas lakes, we still enjoyed playing in the lake with the fam. We all played some football, frisbee, and dunked each other in the ice cold lake. Thanks again Eric! We each got a turn to cook one of the meals, Ryan and I made BBQ brisket sandwiches and they were so good! Not going to lie all of the meals were amazing, thank goodness for good cookers in the family!
Sister-in-laws Jaimee and Hannah, Mother-in-law Susan and Me catching some rays at the beach. While the boys, Ryan and Tyler, play some intense football with each other.Me and the hubby taking a break from the cold water!
Part the the fam enjoying lunch while at the beach.Hannah, Me, Jaimee, Madison, and Cecily - I meet Madison and her family for the first time on this trip, and we found out that we are in the same math 1050 class! It's been fun having her in there with me! Goodluck madison!
We also had plenty of dance parties, which is always fun with these crazy boys. I must say Ryan has the best dance moves out there - although joel was just good! They were a riot to watch!Cecily and Bess were enjoying doing some moves for the camera! These two little girls are so dang cute! Susan graduated from BYU while we were up at the cabin! After years of determination it all came to an end! Congrats, Susan! I don't know of too many people that could make it through all that hard work! I'm having trouble right now!Ryan's side of the family is extremely talented from acting to musically talented. I was pretty nervous about the talent show, because the only talent that I can think of is tumbling. Nothing musical, so I wasn't sure what to do. Luckily Jaimee and Tyler invited me to do a dance routine with them! It ended up being a lot of fun! The Jefferies played out Pirates of the Carribean, and it was very funny! Madison was a very good Captain Jack Sparrow! Here we are dancing to the backstreet boys! You can't even tell the girls from the boys!Mike's boys and their wives did some funny skits, I don't think I've ever laughed so hard! Susan and Ryan also sang a spanish song together on the guitar, Susan sang "I want to grow old with you" for Mike. And Ryan and Eric sang an original song called - Cowboy Joe, it was really funny! And Todd sang his song that he wrote for Kimiko. (for some reason those pictures wont upload.)Before the family reunion started Todd and Kimiko got married in the Logan, UT temple. It was a great ceremony, congrats you two and welcome to the family kimiko!

Thanks again Susan and Mike for making this family reunion one to remember!
