25 weeks!

Pregnancy is great! However, it does have it's up's and down's, and this past week consisted of both ups and downs. One of the downs was, this past Thursday after I had been at work for about 5 minutes and had just started working on our first patient I started to feel very sick. I was feeling completely fine before and then all of a sudden I broke out in a sweat and felt a ton of pressure on my belly and very nauseous. I felt like any second I was going to fall out of the chair and pass out so I decided to get up and walk out of the room leaving my dentist hanging. He was really nice about it and came out to make sure I was okay and then 10 minutes later I was back to feeling completely fine. That doesn't happen often but when it does it's not a good feeling at all! Another down was that I break down and cry pretty easily. Ryan called me yesterday to tell me that his car had gotten towed and we were going to get charged $200 in order to get it back. As soon as I got off the phone with him I broke down and cried, which isn't something I would normally do it just happens out of your control.

Now to the up side of things! I had my first appointment with my new OBGYN here in Provo, and I love him!!! He was so nice and personable, he came in and got to know me for like 20 minutes and made my feel really comfortable with switching doctors. The baby's heartbeat sounded really good which is always a good feeling. The doctor also told me that I was vertically challenged so the baby is already up in my ribs and only has room to grow out from here! He also told me that I probably only have 5 more "good" weeks and then i'll be pretty uncomfortable most of the time since i'm so short. Overall I'm really excited to have him as my new doctor, he's going to be great! Also, I found out that he was the doctor that delivered my brother over 27 years ago!!

My favorite thing about being pregnant is when I lay down at night and put my hands on my belly and feel our baby girl moving around. I can now see her moving around in my belly now! I know I only have 15 more weeks left until she is here so I'm enjoying everyday that I have with her, cause I know once she is here it's going to be a lot of work. But, it will be so worth it!!!

You are such a cutie. I can't imagine having that sick feeling all of a sudden. At least it goes away quickly, for now anyways! Hopefully it doesn't last too much longer.

I feel your pain Ali - remember how I looked like I was having twins and I was only 7 months along? By the way your house is WAY, way cute! I'm excited you found such a great place!

So Joni did something that you HAVE to do...she wrote down all of the random things she cried about while pregnant when they happened. It is HILARIOUS to read now. Some of the higlights include the 2009 NBA draft, a Sprint Commercial, a scene from the Hills, me saying I didn't feel like fried chicken one night...there were some good ones.
