Game night!

Ryan and I decided to have a fun game night with some of the couples from church, Todd and Kimiko also came.  We had a lot of fun, I made a 7-layer bean dip, and a yummy carmel apple dip (recipes from amanda)  The best game of the night was the M&M game.  To play everyone has their own cup and straws, and there is a bowl full of M&M's.  The goal is to suck up the most M&M's with your straw into your cup.  You start rolling 2 dice, going around in a circle, and if you roll either a 7 or 11 then you get the bowl and start getting the M&M's out of the bowl with your straw.  The next person who rolls a 7 or 11 then steals the bowl of M&M's.  It is such a fun game and it gets very intense!

Our friends Connor and Kylee ( the guy in the blue shirt and the girl sitting next to ryan) had their baby boy this past saturday!!  They named him Nixon Connor Edwards, and he is adorable! We're so excited for them, and wish them the best!

Spring Break in Colorado!!

I'm having to borrow Susan's pictures from the break because i kept forgetting to bring the camera out!   The weather over the break was perfect, in Colorado.  We got to ride cruiser bikes all over the neighborhood, let's just say that I wish I had training wheels!  It had been such a long time since i rode a bike that i was really uncoordinated.  Better luck next time!  I even had one of the neighborhood boys in Hannah's grade "hit on me" i guess that's what you would say.  They thought I was Hannah's friend.

The break was really relaxing!   Ryan got to play his guitar in Susan's Spanish class the first day that we were there.  It was really fun, and everyone was very impressed.  Ryan is really good at singing spanish songs, i love it!

Whenever we visit Colorado, we have to make a trip to the 7-11 gas station to get us some slurps!!  The ride to the gas station always consists of techno music and dancing, and it never will get old.  Thanks Eric for this great tradition :)

spring break

At the beginning of our spring break this year, we got a foot of snow!!!   It was a little disappointing but we tried to make fun out of it!

This is a view of our staircase right outside of our door!  It took us 15-20 minutes just to get the snow off of our car, there has never been that much snow at one time. These are the times that i miss Texas!

We decided to go sledding down Old Main Hill!  I was so much fun, our sled didn't work very well and just went sideways down the hill, but it still worked.  The best part was playing hide-in go- seek in the snow because it was so deep.  

We also made yummy pizzas :).  For our wedding we got Skookie pans, and we have been using them every night for either pizza or cookies.  If you don't own these yet you need to run out to bed bath and beyond and get ya some!

A visit with my old roommate & best friend!

 About a month ago Ryan and I got to go see my closest friend growing up, play basketball at Weber State!  It was so fun to see her again, doing the things that she loves.   Her coach only put her in for 30 seconds but it was still worth the drive down.  I wish i was good at basketball but i have a little bit of a height problem.  

After the game, Abby's Dad took us out to eat at this really really good chinese restaurant.

We also got to meet her boyfriend, who we really liked, and hope that someday they get married!   He also plays basketball for Weber.

Our chief Bobo was very talented!!  It was quite a show.   He also tossed shrimp into our mouths & we all caught them!  I was very excited because i can hardly ever catch food in my mouth!

Anyways, I have a lot of catch up to do on my blog so more to come soon!

Yuck, Ring Worm!

About a month ago i started to get this circular rash.  I had no idea what it was, and it kept getting bigger and bigger.  It is now almost an inch in diameter!   Well, i just found out that I have ring worm, i really hope that doesn't mean i have a worm inside of me.  Anyways, just thought i would post about it.  My ring worm doesn't have a smiley face on it, but i wish that it did :).    I've also had eczema and I would have to say that eczema is a lot worse than this, but still not very fun, hopefully it goes away soon and it doesn't spread to someone else!
