Blessed...

This past Monday I got a call from my friend saying that she was moving back up to Utah State for school and that her Dental Assisting job would need to be filled. I have been wanting this job for so long now, and it's hard to get a job doing this if you don't have any experience besides following an assistant. So, she talked to the dentist that she works for and he wanted me to come in the next day from 8-12 to see if I was a good fit for his office. Half way through my first day at his office he pulled me aside to let me know that I got the job!!! After he had told me that I was nervous because he didn't know that I was pregnant yet, so I had to spill the beans hoping that it wouldn't affect me getting the job. He was thrilled for me and said he would be willing to work around that when the time comes. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist to be working for, he is very patient, easy to talk to and all of his patients love him. Also, one of my brothers really good friend, Erica, works in the office too as a hygienist! Another nice thing about the job is some days there aren't any hygienist there for the day so the dentist will do hygiene and as an assistant we got to polish and floss their teeth before the dentist comes in to pick at them. So, that will be good experience! I'm only going to be working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8-5 and then Friday 7-1 (Wednesdays off). It will be so nice to have nights and weekends off to spend with Ryan. I'm so excited and so blessed to have gotten this job.

Also, on Monday, we got to go hear our little baby's heartbeat!!! I was a little nervous that the heartbeat wouldn't be there after hearing so many stories. But, after about 5 minutes of searching for the heartbeat and hearing mine get louder and louder out of nervousness, she found the heartbeat!!! Once again blessed that our baby is doing great!

Tomorrow is my last day of my first trimester!! I'm so excited to the second trimester!! Only 6 more weeks until we officially find out the sex of the baby... even though we both claim that it's a boy!

One last thing to be grateful for!... Ryan switched jobs to work for Citydeals doing sales. His previous job was commition based so it's nice to have a base pay plus commition. He is really liking it a lot, and the people he works with are all really nice guys. If you don't know what Citydeals is go check out Citydeals.com and see if they have it in your area. It's a bunch of coupons at discounted prices for things like restaurants, massages, theme parks etc. There are a lot of restaurant coupons that you only pay $15 and you get $30 worth at the restaurant so it's a really good deal! So, if you have a company and you want to get some coupons up on their website give Ryan a call!!

Things are working out so good with the baby on the way, we are so blessed.

So many things...

I can't wait to buy!!

I love this diaper bag! And it's gender neutral so I can use it for all of our kids! Then I spotting this crib when I was out shopping with my mom on sale for 60% off at Oopsie Daisy...
Now I just need to find out if it's a boy or a girl cause I've got my eye on a few other things.
We go in for our second appointment today! We're so excited to get to hear the heartbeat! Hopefully at the next appointment we will be able to find out the sex.

bun in the oven!

Our first family picture!!

That's Right, I'm pregnant!! We went to my first doctors appointment yesterday and loved getting to see the little one for the first time! It was so amazing! Even though a stick tells you that you're pregnancy it doesn't feel real until you actually get to see it for yourself! I'm about 9 weeks along and my due date is on DECEMBER 25!! I'm hoping it will come early so we can enjoy our Christmas with our new addition, plus my birthday is the 28th!
Luckily before my doctors appointment I hadn't felt sick besides a time or two but yesterday night was a bad night! I throw up 3 times , was burning up in bed and never felt so nauseous. I know it will all be worth it once the baby is here I just hope i'm not sick like this for long!
I also got my blood drawn at my appointment and I didn't even get dizzy or pass out! So, that was a good feeling!

There "IT" is all curled up. Ryan claims that he saw him running on a treadmill and waving at him but this is all I saw. We didn't get to hear the heart beat this appointment but we will in our next appointment! I can't wait to get to see him/her again!!!

Her pregnancy & labor went so smoothly! She hardly ever got sick, and then her labor lastest only 8 hours or so. I'll let her tell you all about it though! Enjoy some pictures of the cutest little girl...

Jaimee's Baby Shower!

Last Saturday was Jaimee's baby shower. Aunt Karen and I threw the shower for her and had a lot of fun getting things ready for it. There is so much that goes into planning a baby shower that you don't even realize. I also had so much fun shopping for gifts for jaimee's girl, there were so many cute outfits and accessories I just wanted to buy it all!

We had lot of yummy food! My favorite was the yogurt parfaits.

Jaimee got so many cute outfits and accessories for the baby! She only has about 5 weeks left until the baby is finally here! We are all getting really excited to finally have a kid in the family.

I decided to try and make a quilt for Jaimee. This is actually the quilt I was making when the needle went through my finger. I didn't touch the quilt until a week before the shower because I was a little bit scared to sew after that experience.

The Giffith and Moore side of the family... they are such great in laws!
Susan and Hannah were able to come over to Utah for the baby shower. They stayed for the whole weekend and it was fun to spend some time with both of them even though Ryan and I had to work our jobs part of the time.

What we have been up to!

It has been such a long time since i've posted anything. Ryan and I have just been so busy lately with work and school. So, I'll just tell you what exactly we have been up to. Ryan is now working 2 jobs. He works for olive garden still on the weekends and then during the week he works for a company called Premier Mentoring doing sales for them and has really liked working there. It's a pretty laid back job and the people that work on his team are really nice guys. He is planning on quitting at the Olive Garden this weekend though because it's just not very fun to work every day of the week and not have any weekends. Plus he is starting to make pretty good money at his other job... that's why he kept the olive garden job just to make sure we had an income because his new job is all commission.

I am work at Texas Roadhouse as a server, I actually like working there. Although I can't wait till I can get a dental type job. I'm taking my last semester of classes for my pre-reqs to the dental hygiene school. For those of you who knew, I had an interview with a dental hygiene school in November and they said they would let me know if I get into the school within 6 weeks well it ended up taking them 4 months to get back to me so I just found out. The news was that I am an alternative, meaning if someone else backs out for the may starting date then I get the spot. I wasn't too happy about that but I also don't want to pay $50,000 to go to that school when I could pay $10,000 at another school and just wait another year. So my plan is after this semester is to take a year off maybe go to dental assisting school which is only a 10 week program only on Saturdays and then work as a dental assistant till I get into a school.

Some exciting news that happened to me almost 2 weeks ago.... Since I love my brother-in-law so much I agreed to getting my blood drawn for him. I have a life insurance plan through him and if I got my blood drawn then it helped him out a lot. I'm sure most of you know that Needles are my BIGGEST fear! My whole life I've past out from any type of shot especially getting my blood drawn. So, I faced my biggest fear hoping that it would help me overcome it, and it didnt!!! The lady went through my vein because I have "rolling veins" which ended up causing a big bruise. I'll have to admit that it didn't hurt too bad just a hard pinch but the after math was the worst!! Right after she took the needle out my face went pale and I could feel myself about to past out. The next thing I know I am shaking uncontrollably. It was not a fun experience and I hope I don't have to go through it for a long time. I don't know if I'll be able to make it through a pregnancy, yikes that's not a good thing.

I don't no if anyone will even read all of this because there are no pictures but lastly I'll just tell you what we did for Valentine's day (sorry I don't have any pictures) We celebrated Valentine's day on Saturday so that we could go out and do something. Ryan had to work both of his jobs that Saturday from 11 till 6 and then when he got off we went out to eat at the cheese cake factory and then went to go see the movie Valentine's Day, which was a horrible movie no story line at all. All in all it was a good valentine's day I just wish Ryan didn't have to work both of his jobs.

We'll that's it for now and hopefully I'll be posting pictures soon...

Let's Rodeo San Antonio!!!

The most fun time of year is beginning in San Antonio!!! For the next couple of weeks they have a really fun Rodeo every night with famous country singers performing after the rodeo along with a carnival outside! I can't wait till I can take Ryan to go see the Rodeo sometime in San Antonio! My family and all my friends back home along with their families are going this weekend to go see Tim McGraw perform, SO JEALOUS! Sometimes I wish I could just snap my fingers and be where ever I wish....
