A visit with my old roommate & best friend!

 About a month ago Ryan and I got to go see my closest friend growing up, play basketball at Weber State!  It was so fun to see her again, doing the things that she loves.   Her coach only put her in for 30 seconds but it was still worth the drive down.  I wish i was good at basketball but i have a little bit of a height problem.  

After the game, Abby's Dad took us out to eat at this really really good chinese restaurant.

We also got to meet her boyfriend, who we really liked, and hope that someday they get married!   He also plays basketball for Weber.

Our chief Bobo was very talented!!  It was quite a show.   He also tossed shrimp into our mouths & we all caught them!  I was very excited because i can hardly ever catch food in my mouth!

Anyways, I have a lot of catch up to do on my blog so more to come soon!

Yuck, Ring Worm!

About a month ago i started to get this circular rash.  I had no idea what it was, and it kept getting bigger and bigger.  It is now almost an inch in diameter!   Well, i just found out that I have ring worm, i really hope that doesn't mean i have a worm inside of me.  Anyways, just thought i would post about it.  My ring worm doesn't have a smiley face on it, but i wish that it did :).    I've also had eczema and I would have to say that eczema is a lot worse than this, but still not very fun, hopefully it goes away soon and it doesn't spread to someone else!

Just kidding!!  Ryan and Aaron we're mission companions, and are so close that i swear they could be brothers.     Lately we have been hanging out with Aaron and his wife.  We always have such a fun time with them.  We've never taken pictures together, and he wanted us to blog about hanging out with them, so here it is.   

 

Valentine's...

To start off our Valentine's day, I woke up for a 2 hour test review for my Anatomy class at 8.  On my way home i stopped at the grocery store because i wanted to make crepes for Ryan.  I wanted to bring them to him in bed, but right when i was opening the door to our bedroom, he was opening it from the other side. Oh well.   He was pretty surprised and loved them! How could you not love crepes?

Ryan had a really fun night planned out for us.    We went down to Salt Lake and went out to eat at my favorite restaurant, Happy Sumo!!  We tried to get there early, but it was still a 2 hour wait, so we walked around gateway for a while.   It was well worth the wait.   If any of you have never been, or don't like sushi you should give it a try because it is yummmy!  (By the way I of course forgot my camera when we went down to salt lake so I had to find these pictures offline. ) 

Then, Ryan took me to go see Confessions of a Shopaholic!  I don't know many manly men that would go and see that movie, but Ryan did and he actually liked it!  

Then on the way back up to logan from salt lake, every single on ramp headed north was closed.  So it ended up taking us an hour just to get out of Salt Lake and over 2 hours to get home.  But, when we got home Ryan some how already had flower petals laying out every where.  What a fun day!  I'm so grateful for my husband, and that he will always be my valentine.

It's a Happy day for Lovers!

I want to wish everyone a happy valentine's day!!   I'm excited to see what my husband has planned for tonight... It's always a surprise :) 

It's already been 6 Months!!

This past saturday was our half year mark of being married!  These past 6 months have flown by way too fast, thank goodness we have an eternity together.  To celebrate our 6 month anniversary, we went out to eat and then went to the place that we met,  a Utah State basketball game.   It was a lot of fun, but this will probably be the only year that we will celebrate our half-anniversary.  I love you hubby!

Fun trip to the Zoo!

I'm still putting up pictures from christmas break, i just havn't been able to get all of them up quite yet.   But, this is all of us at the zoo!  We also brought along with us, Justin.  Justin is an amazing kid that my dad mentors at a middle in downtown san antonio.  Ryan and I also got to go with my dad to visit Justin at his school while we were home.   My family is very grateful to have him in our lives, and be take him to do something that he has never been able to do. 

Yes, i know.... VERY ugly. Good thing we don't really look like that!

 I thought i would take a picture of a hippo because i know that Jaimee really wanted a hippo for christmas, and i'm not sure that she got one. So, I hope that this makes up for it!

Our very favorite animal at the zoo was that silly monkeys!  They are so entertaining, i've always wanted a pet monkey.

For some reason we still have a lot of fun feeding the ducks :)
